Care — Keep the Kit Working

Clothes remember how you treat them.
Care with intention and they’ll move with you longer—quiet, reliable, ready. Less noise, more life.

The simple rules (work for most pieces)

  • Wash cold (30°C), inside out.
  • Use a mild detergent. Skip fabric softener (it coats fibers, traps odour, and blocks performance).
  • Close zips/Velcro, tie drawcords, and wash similar colours together.
  • Wash less, wear more. Spot-clean between full cycles.
  • Air dry. Heat ages fabric and prints; use tumble low only if essential.
  • Store with intention. Fold heavy knits and hoodies; hang tees on rounded hangers.

By material (quick guides)

Organic Cotton (tees, tanks, some midlayers)

  • Cold wash, inside out.
  • Line dry; reshape while damp.
  • Low iron on reverse if needed.
  • Light pilling? Use a fabric comb, not a razor.

Loopback / Brushed Fleece (hoodies, crews)

  • Turn inside out; cold wash.
  • Line dry flat or on a rack. Avoid high heat (prevents shrink and keeps the hand soft).
  • Wash with like fabrics to minimise lint.

Recycled Performance Blends (joggers, shorts, commuter pants)

  • Cold wash; no softener; low spin.
  • Remove promptly; line dry.
  • To reduce microfibre shedding: use a capture bag/filter, wash full loads, and keep to cold cycles.

Swim

  • Rinse after salt or chlorine.
  • Hand wash cold with mild detergent; do not wring.
  • Dry flat in the shade; avoid hot tubs and high heat.

Caps & Carry

  • Spot clean with a damp cloth and mild soap.
  • Air dry; stuff crown with a clean towel to hold shape.
  • Avoid machine wash/dryers.

Socks

  • Turn inside out; cold wash; line dry for elastic recovery.

Stain quick-start (treat fast, dab—don’t rub)

  • Oil/grease: pre-treat with a drop of dish soap; rinse cold; then wash.
  • Mud: let dry, brush off, then cold soak and wash.
  • Sweat/yellowing (light colours): oxygen-based bleach or a baking-soda paste; test first.
  • Deodorant marks: damp cloth + mild soap; avoid hot iron over residue.
  • Blood: cold water only; enzyme cleaner if needed.

Drying, heat & prints

  • Air dry whenever you can.
  • If you must tumble: low heat, short cycle, remove slightly damp and finish on a rack.
  • Graphics: dry and iron inside out; avoid direct high heat on prints.

Storage & rotation

  • Fold heavy knits and hoodies to prevent stretch.
  • Hang lighter tops on rounded hangers; don’t overcrowd.
  • Rotate wear—rest days help fabrics recover shape.

Repair & refresh

A loose thread, tired drawcord, or small seam can be fixed. Mend early and pieces last longer. If you need help, message Support—we’ll share simple repair steps or point you to a local pro.

Why it matters

Durability is sustainability.
Every wash you skip, every line-dry, every small repair keeps a good piece in play. Care is part of the design—and part of the promise.

Treat your kit with care, and it will take care of you.
